The Bow Wow Reading Dogs will be making regular visits to the library this summer! Come to the library to reserve a 15-minute session for your child (age 5-10). Reading sessions will be on Tuesdays, June 14th-August 9th between 1pm-2pm. Visit www.austindogalliance.org for more info.

Disconnect from the screen, and reconnect with your friends and family! Focus on a hobby, do something outside, play a board game, work on an art project, start a garden, or come to the library and check out some books to read!
Kids Recycling Workshop – Wednesday, April 20th @ 5:00pm April 18, 2011
We have a special guest coming to Wacky Science this week! A representative from the IES recycling company will be coming to Wells Branch Community Library to teach parents and kids of all ages about what happens to our recycling after we put it out on the curb. This event is free and for kids of all ages.

Changes to the library program schedule for the week of spring break (3/13-3/19):
There will be NO Phonics Fun, Kinder Crafts, Family Game Night, Wacky Science, or Arts & Crafts during this week.
The storytime schedule remains the same during this week:
- Mon. 10:45am – Monkey in the Middle
- Tues. 7:00pm – Pajama Storytime
- Fri. 10am – Infant, 10:45am – Toddler, 11:30pm – Preschool Storytime
Kite Making Workshop – Wednesday at 5:00pm March 8, 2011
Join us in Wacky Science this month to learn all about air! This Wednesday (3/9) at 5:00pm, we will learn about lift and drag while creating paper kites that really fly! Wacky Science is on Wednesdays at 5:00pm. Kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
